ACT II THE PAGES OF FATE
ACT II, EPISODE 1 – MISSING PERSONS
After a strange dream sequence, the party wakes to find that Medivh has left Phandalin and has asked not to be followed. They help rebuild the town before meeting a new group member and then a messenger who says children are being kidnapped from the nearby city of Almamoon and help is needed. The group makes the perilous trek and starts getting acquainted with the odd new town.
ACT II, EPISODE 2 – DISCORDANT
The group wakes up to strange and unpleasant music in the middle of the night. Upon investigating they find Trevor Belmont wandering the streets and end up at a huge ivory tower to which they cannot find an entrance. Later they travel to the snowy mountains to search for the missing children and infiltrate a hostile cavern before being knocked down several pegs by the cave’s leader.
ACT II, EPISODE 3 – SHADOWED
An alliance is formed with a gullible giant and the mountain cave is cleared of hostiles. While leaving, the adventurers are confronted by a noncomprehensible shadow figure who questions their trust of one another. They then journey to the marshlands where they find their first shred of evidence regarding the children but must run an errand for an evil hag if they want to know more.
ACT II, EPISODE 4 – BEWARE THE WEREBEAR
In search of a polar bear tail, the party travels to a mysterious island via airship. There they find an underground cult performing horrific experiments on people and animals alike. Curses are bestowed on members of the party and their foes, pianos are played, and the group eventually finds what they’re looking for although not in the form they were expecting.
ACT II, EPISODE 5 – THE TAIL THAT WAGS THE HAG
The group does battle with the leader of the island cult and are once again confronted by the frightening shadow figure. They find an unexpected path back to Almamoon before realizing they left something valuable behind, and are forced to return to Castaway Cove. There they work out a deal and journey back to the marshlands for a showdown with the evil hag.
ACT II, EPISODE 6 – HARBINGER
The party investigates the Forgotten Keep and learns some history about the land. They explore the tombs beneath the castle to search for more journal pages and come face to face with a frightening specter. One of them gets possessed and turns on the group, while another vanishes in front of their eyes.
ACT II, EPISODE 7 – THE IVORY TOWER
The remaining members of the group gain access to the Ivory Tower and find their missing friend severely weakened and drastically changed. They are forced to complete a series of complex puzzles to advance through the tower and discover what happened to the missing children of Almamoon. They are confronted by the villains behind the plot and must deal with traumatizing visions, interdimensional travel, and loss of abilities if they hope to survive.
