Bio:

Linny Bobinny Bananafana Mo Minnie Throwyrhandsup Atmae Bumblebey. The Gnome’s name may be fun to say, but her early life had a more serious tone to it. Her grandfather of the Minnie clan was the beloved head of the church of Pelor, god of the sun and healing. As a result, the entire family was extremely religious and conservative and all members of the clan were expected to always attend church services and set an example for the rest of the community. Linny’s hometown was very well off, so it was easy for most of the residents to focus only on their own lives and not be concerned with the world far beyond their borders. As a member of the most respected religious family in town, Linny began doing missionary work and travelling to unfamiliar towns seemingly less fortunate than her own. It was on these missions that she began to realize that the church’s motives were not exactly selfless; Linny saw the missions as a way for her clan to feel accomplished in the eyes of their god and not as a means to help the less fortunate. Upon getting to know the people of these towns, people of all different social classes and religions (or lack of religion), she saw that they were not damned souls who needed to be shown the right way to live. They were already living life just fine and were happier and more genuine than the people she grew up with back home. As a result, Linny began to feel disenchanted with the church as well as the entire concept of religion and its motives. On her last mission, she met a male Gnome that she fell in love with almost instantly. It was the deepest and purest form of love she had ever experienced, and she decided to get married and leave the church behind forever. Her family turned their back on her as a result, warning that Pelor would do the same and that great evil would find its way into her life and consume her. The deity may be able to forgive her someday, they said, but for shaming their clan they would not be able to do the same. Regardless, she began a new life with her husband and had three children, living a life happier than she had ever imagined. A few years later on her oldest son’s birthday, Linny decided to go to the market in the morning so she could surprise her family with a celebratory feast. She returned home and prepared the birthday spread as quietly as possible, but began to grow concerned when none of her family woke up to the smell of the food. Upon investigation, she was horrified to discover that her husband and two boys were dead in their beds and her baby girl was missing. There were no clues as to what happened and the authorities were never able to find any leads. Devastated, Linny convinced herself that it was punishment from Pelor for turning her back on her faith, and she retreated to a secluded monastery to re-devote herself to religion. She hoped that she could someday repent enough to be given answers about why her family was killed and what had happened to her daughter. After decades of isolation, Linny Minnie Bumblebey reemerged from the confines of the church to once again attempt to help others in need and hope that Pelor would guide her in her quest for the truth.
